Ilunion Miramar

Me and my partner have just recently come back from a lovely relaxing stay 8th to the 15th room 1404 was exceptionally clean , all the staff were very friendly and welcoming . We went half board , there was always something to eat , although it could of been a little hotter also the mattresses were quite hard which is why I’ve only given 4 stars Plenty of sun beds Food was very nice at the pool bar Would definitely stay again

This was our first trip to the Costa Del Sol so we were a bit anxious about the hotel, generally we spend our holidays in Italy and Barcelona. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly, the apartment basic but more than adequate and quiet

My husband and I just home from a 2wk stay. This is a fab hotel,spotlessly clean great staff rooms have all you need…..the reception staff are a treat especially The lovely Alberto and Daniel ultra helpful. Nuria doing the massages is delightful and excellent at her job. Right next door to shopping mall that includes a supermarket (top tip stock up with all you need a bring your shopping trolley 🛒 back to hotel save carrying they collect them every day and return) Hotel a little way from town centre but is walkable or user bus outside reception. We were self catering suited us fine just enjoyed lovely deli food from supermarket and few gorgeous meals out.Rooms cleaned everyday with fresh sheets. Plenty of sun beds happy hour every day 5.30pm - 6.30pm. Iron and ironing board on request. Didn’t eat at restaurant so can’t comment. If was forced to find a negative it would be bed a little hard for my liking (but not a deal breaker) all in all loved the place.

This is the best hotel ever! We went as a family of 4 and it was just perfect. We booked a SC apartment and it had a bedroom with balcony and the balcony joined to the living room which converted into two more beds for the kids. They were adult sized beds so would sleep 4 adults (actually 5 as there is another small bed by the door). There was a well equipped kitchen with everything you’d need to cook and eat with. The rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard and there were plenty of towels and bed linen to make beds and keep warm. The hotel pools are lovely, there’s a larger adult pool which children are allowed in if supervised and a smaller children’s pool which was slightly warmer. The life guards are quite strict though and don’t allow any balls/floats/skimmers. There are plenty of sun loungers, in and out of the shade and close to the bar/restaurant areas. The bar and bar restaurant were great. We didn’t use the dining rooms or eat at the buffets so couldn’t review those. The beach is about a 10-15 minute walk but there are various different ways to walk down there and so many children’s parks to walk through and stop at as well as a crazy golf course. There is also a big shopping centre just 5 minutes away with great normal high street shops (primark, Zara, H&M amongst others) and fast food eateries including KFC. Also has a Carrafour supermarket at the bottom. Lidl is also only about a 10 minute walk away in a different direction. While there you can walk to the local water park - Aquamijas, it’s about a 15 minute walk away from the hotel. We will definitely be booking the same holiday again next year. We loved it so much ❤️.

Stayed ere for the week with out three children , ages ranging 5 , 11 and 16 and they had a brilliant time. Both my husband and I joined in with the games that they did through out the day for both the kids and adults . The staff that did the kids club worked extremely hard entertaining us all and were extremely nice and had a smile on their faces all the time . The hotel had a high standard of cleanliness in all areas . The food at the bar was delicious, great selection for breakfast . You would need to get a taxi r a bus down to the town r beach as it is a bit of a walk away especially with kids but there are buses running very regularly just around the corner from the front door . Just behind the hotel there is the myramar shopping centre , it is massive ! It has all types of shops and even go carting on the top floor which has a two seater cart so our 5 year old could drive with his dad , it was fantastic. Would highly recommend this hotel for both families r groups that are looking for a hotel with fun and very pleasant staff

Very well run hotel & spotlessly clean. Apartments are spacious though little old fashioned. Room cleaned daily, fresh towels whenever requested. Pool area is well maintained, plenty of sunbeds & pool bar area has fountains & music. Staff are friendly & helpful. Pleasant 10 minute walk along good paths by the riverside to the beach & paseo with restaurants & bars. Riverside walk is well lit at night. All lovely apart from the beds which are like rocks! Have visited Spain regularly for many years & these are the worst beds ever encountered. Sadly for this reason alone we won't return here as we've had barely any sleep & ache all over.

Iv been going here since 2002,, Would not look past it,, until now. I was there for my Husbands 60th, in room above reception 1st night good,, but no dish clothes or anything,, room not very clean,, coffee tables had spillage on it. Tuesday foreigners moved in above us,, 3 nights child scraped furniture over floor from 11.30pm till 5am,, reported to staff very rude,, what did they want them to do. No English tv channels,, got Jet2 involved waste time,, they moved us to room from hell, cause we complained. To many stags hens party's now, they never avoid that. To many foreigners coming over from Morocco stay couple nights, children running wild. We moved over to The Fuengirola Beach for last 3 nights,, great Hotel. Myramar has nothing no entertainment Happy Hour stopped. Staff terrible they won't help British, I'm a Scottish 😍 They defend their own. We did B&B good selection food, but cold is a microwave bit messy for me. Just believe me,, I loved this Hotel Gosh way at bottom of my list. Would never return,, not worth Their 3 Stars

Hotel is well appointed, however staff seem obsessed with serving. Local customers before paying guests, after waiting 10 minutes with money in hand whilst the member off staff seemed more interested in talking with Spanish people first I felt discriminated against! I left offended. Will drink somewhere else!
